RIP Solomon Burke

Yeah, I saw his obit in the national media. He was a very influential cat, but never, really, got his due. He left behind some great music though and I spent most of last night putting together a Solomon Burke play list on Grooveshark. The guy rocked thats for sure.

I was listening to him only yesterday. Amazing story teller, like a lot of the blues greats. Why have I not seen this on the news this morning? Hopefully he'll eventually get the recognition that he deserves.
