RIP Silver Lake Walking Man

Oh, my wife will be very sad. We used to see him all the time, and he was just a neighborhood fixture.

Plus, we also figured that with all that healthy walking and fresh air, he'd be immortal or something...
 
Just heard from someone who knew his neighbors. They said he had walking pneumonia (how appropriate), and was in the hospital a week earlier. They tried to revive him with no luck.
 
Got a power-walker down here. Rain or shine, all four seasons, have no idea where he lives, but he's on the roads all day long as far as I can tell. Very tall, skinny, black dude of indeterminate age, waves at all the cars as they go by. We wave back, of course.
