RIP Mr. Mandela

What a man- a symbol of decency, principle and forgiveness.

Grace and dignity. A gentle lion of a leader pulling his country together.

After 27 years in prison, to be able to say "People tend to measure themselves by external accomplishments, but jail allows a person to focus on internal ones; such as honesty, sincerity, simplicity, humility, generosity and an absence of variety. You learn to look into yourself" without anger, resentment or retribution is nothing short of incredible.
 
Mandela example was very very important here in Chile, in the fight against Pinochet dictadorship. I know we can't talk about politics here, about right and left and whatever, but this is true: non violent resistance, equality and reconciliation. I am very grateful for this and for him
 
RIP. Like other greats in history, he took the suffering in order to make this world a better place.
