Another lesser known legend passed today, Guy Hamilton, who directed the quintessential Bond film Goldfinger. Dr. No was good, and From Russia With Love is excellent, but everything we know and love about Bond came together in this third Bond film and became the template for the series. It's my personal favourite of all the Bond's. He also directed several other Bond's and Remo Williams, a film I have a nostalgic soft spot for.
