Rip from DVD?

I shot a band performance and want to use a clip from their music video to go along with what I shot.

The label is offering me either a DVD copy or 30mb mov?


I dont know which one is better/easier to use w/FCP.


Is there a way to rip from DVD w/FCP or should i go with the 30mb mov?

Take the .MOV, ripping DVD's can rot your teeth.

lol -- either way there's gonna be some quality loss. 30meg mov will be less than stellar indeed.
