RIP Anne Francis

[Batutta]

Most of you young'uns will have no idea who she is, as she was a star even before my time. But I saw Forbidden Planet on TV many times as a kid and I'm sure Anne in this mini-skirt was responsible for one of my first boners--

The fact that she was also a man crazy tease in the film added fuel to my boyhood fantasies. RIP

[Sad Max]

I've never before seen quite such a blend of RIP and TMI.

She brought joy to a lonely, young boy, a noble legacy.

Wow, FP was just on TCM this weekend. I remember her more for her role in Bad Day at Black Rock, but she was quite *ahem* memorable in FP as well.

RIP Honey West.
