Ringlights???

Folks,

For my C100 I'd like to get me a small and portable lightning solution for interview situations, mostly.

I do like the HDR-3000 ringlight, thats about 250USD, but what would be a good alternative to that?

please enlighten me?

I have a Kino Flo Kamio ring light which I can change the tubes out for the needed color balance I'm shooting at. Just be aware that the person you interview will have the circular ring light in their eyes look which some folks don't like for standard interview stuff.

The Diva sold by Guy at DVE Store is about as affordable as you can get. http://www.dvestore.com/photo-video-diva-ring-light/ Personally, I find the round catchlights a little creepy, though!

really, I totally digg them. Though I lack personal experience with them. All I can say is, what I see is what I like. Thanks guys for the hints.
I might go for the HDR-3000 as amazon Germany has it in store. cheers.

When I'm doing a stylized piece I think the look is OK, but I'm not real big on the look for interviews where I want the viewer to concentrate on what the person is saying, rather than a weird circle in their eyes.
