Rigging stabilizer arm to vehicle, help requested

firehawk

Hi am looking to get this stabilizer arm
https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produ...rbing_arm.html

and attach it to a chevy tahoe that has the rear factory receiver hitch and luggage rack on top.
I've looking for advice how to do this please.

Besides 2" (42mm) speed rails I am looking at this receiver tow bar

and rotating clamps
https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produ...peed_rail.html

I think I'd rather secure/attach the top points to the factory luggage rack bars on top than suction cups on the vehicle. Any suggestions on how to accomplish this?

My other vehicle I intend to attach to is a Ford Transit but the Tahoe rides smoother so I expect better results from it.
I have Ronin M gimbal and Crane 2 Gimbal already

Buy a roof rack and add (weld) some baby pins to that.

buy a roof rack and drill 12 or 16mm holes and add 150 mm of studding with lock nuts - the studs will accept Grip clamps

or use suction cups backed up with straps through the current roof bars if that is possible

btw. 42mm is not 2 in so checkvyour sizing.
