Ridiculous Hangover

If you're not used to consuming large amounts of alcohol, what you're feeling is totally normal (or so I've heard).

Yes. If you want to cleanse your system, get some exercise, eat some spicy food, drink some water, and try a a sauna. Just gotta get the alcohol out of your system. Good to hear you made it.

a hearty McDonalds breakfast usually clears up those feelings. The load of sugar and fat helps somehow. That and alot of water and activity. Laying around comatose usually prolongs the feelings

Of course if that doesnt work then get drunk again and start over from scratch...

A lot of people dont realize it can take well over 60 hours for alcohol to completely pass through the system. So whatever 60 hours past your initial drink was, is when you'll probably be through. Although depending on the quality, mix, etc of the liquors you could feel the effects sure.

The worst I ever did was drink an entire bottle of wild turkey one night. I passed out around 11, woke up at 2 pm the next day still completely drunk off my ass. I think it was around 6pm the FOLLOWING day after THAT my hangover actually started. So I suffered for over 3 days from one night of drinking.

Yeah, I've only gone over 10 drinks one night and it was a horrible mixture of cheap beer, cheap whisky, and I'm not really sure what else.

The next day I was dry heaving like crazy and couldn't move from my bed. It definitely took a day to get over the hangover, maybe more, then a couple more to get over the exhaustion.

Believe it or not, that weird green looking Odwalla juice (which actually tastes great) is probably the best hangover cure I know of. Mix that with a couple cups of water, some tylenol, and some coffee (the sum total of which will probably further destroy your liver but whatever) and it should help a little. Coffee dehydrates you further, so only drink more than a tiny bit if you're a caffeine addict. Excersize is good, but only if you have the stomach for it.

You'll definitely recover.

maybe something's wrong with me, but i feel GREAT when i wake up the next morning after a night of drinking! is this something I should look into or just accept it as a gift?

I didn't start getting hangovers till I turned 22. If you're younger than that maybe you should be afraid...otherwise take it as a gift.

Just go with it, my son. Don't question the judgement of the almighty booze.

Oh man, a two day hangover. Those are the worst. Lots of water and food and pray it's not a three day hangover. I've never had a three day hangover but I've had some pretty nasty two day hangovers. Not much since college and my lost summer, though.

Neither did I. I used to be able to drink anything and wake up fresh as a daisy. Not any more!:(

The problem with being a non drinker?

When you wake up, thats the best you will feel all day!

Weird thing is that sometimes I'll wake up and feel hungover. Damnedest thing. Happened last Friday.

I get drinking hangovers less and less. I can dig it.
