for anyone who has used one, is it stiff/strong/stable enough to to do extreme tilts with a 10 lb camera mounted? I won't put up with slop or backlash in the system. I use a Dana Dolly but need something that will fit in small spaces and be faster setup.
I have the Rhino with carbon 24 inch rails. Its load capacity is 15 lbs. If you have 42" rails that goes down to 7 lbs. I would just call them https://rhinocameragear.com/a/support
Thanks for the reply Mark.
If you were to actively tilt down over say, a desk, during a move, would the rails or carriage flex enough to cause backlash, or see it in the shot?
thanks again for your input. I'm thinking now of building a small version of the Dana, but I don't know if scaling down the weight and size will ruin the functionality.
I also have a Dana Dolly, and use a Kessler Pocket Dolly with a stripped down camera for tight spaces. I don't use a big fluid head or accessories with this setup as it is just too much.
