RFeyeD on IMDB

I clicked your film, and then it reminded me I need to click mine because they have the date wrong.

Funny thing is this was the film that they had under both of ours as a
"if you liked this, you'll also like this" recommendation:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0393366/
"Gay Propaganda"
hahaha, what in the world about our films would make them think they had anything to do with gay cinema. The Zombie dad in mine is gay in real life, but there's no way they could know that and that doesn't explain that film being suggested after yours, lol.

Anyway, congrats on getting it on there. It can be a biotch. Now I am screwed because they have the date wrong on mine and that's the one thing you can't fix without deleting the whole thing and starting over. Seems like the date for each film is it's primary unique ID source like a social security number or something.

Congrats again.

Thanks.
LOL, maybe its because Arphid is mounting the hero in a very intimate way? Or maybe its because Arphid reminds everyone of Dirk Diggler.
They spelled my name wrong and created a new profile for me so now I have to fight to get that changed.

I got RFeyeD up there because its going to air on the Scifi Channel and Sundance Channel. The ***** was that it hasn't aired yet but it slated to so thats why I had to keep sending them stuff that said its guaranteed to air.

Bloody Mary and Shed got on there from being semi finalists in Exposure. Because it is an official selection contest, unlike DVXuser which is an open gate contest, that was enough. So you would have had less trouble getting it on just for that since it already happened, even though airing on TV is a bigger deal.

When's it airing dude? I'd like to TIVO it.

I didnt know just being on the site would get it on IMDB so I did it the hard way I guess.
Brandon, I don't have an air date yet but it's supposed to be pretty soon. They have all the edits in and I think they are ready to go.

congrats Aram.

BTW, after all my complaining, they did not cut our film. Not sure if the complaining helped, but it felt good...

Yeah the rule is of "general public interest". And competitions where the films have to be selected, unlike DVXuser, count for the most part unless IMDB does not consider the contest reputable for some reason. But since it's sci fi and sundance channel they dug it I guess.

You could theoritically even get one on there from youtube or you're own website if it had tons of views and you could send them proof of the viewing stats.

But inclusion on websites does not generally qualify. We qualified because it was an "official selection" contest by people that they know of.

I think we can get other things on there now once you already have a credit in a certain feild. Like if you have a credit as afocus puller on one movie which is on IMDB, and then you are focus puller on another film which is a new title not on IMDB, then I think it goes through. But like I said, I think. I thought I read this once on there but I cannot find it now.

I got Metal Storm up there because of some vague first annual film fest in the hills of SE Ohio...only took three months!

Thats cool. Yeah it took about 3-4 months too. They sent it back 4 times asking for more info.
Now it will only be another 3-4 months to get the my name fixed.

I think since you got that movie in that film fest it may qualify if the fest is big enough. I think. I was going to try submitting Red Meat since it has been in the Boston Underground Film Fest.

They still didnt fix my name though.
