Revolution Calling...

Since matrix's slomo and bullet time i have'nt seen anything "camera-wise" that has been so revolutionary... something that has changed everyones way of filming

what have you guys seen that think would be the next revolution?
...or has it all been done?

Look for the technology to surface in these two movies:

Evangelion: The Live Action Movie
Battle Angel Alita: The Live Action Movie

They've been talking about this new thing for a few years. It'll be interesting.

...so except for kholi's opinion, no one thinks filming is going anywhere....
..sad future for us movieguys,,,,

Just think of something, there's always different ways of framing something. Look at Sam Raimi and his weird camera shots. There's all kinds of things that haven't been done yet or can't be done yet, don't give up hope yet. :)

Don't wait for someone to do something innovative, pick up that dvx and let someone else say "Since Ogrus' *insert amazing thing here* i have'nt seen anything "camera-wise" that has been so revolutionary... something that has changed everyones way of filming" ;)

The only thing that makes something revolutionary is when every starts doing it. It took a few years before everyone was into using "bullet time" and the matrix was given it's current credit.

Not to mention that when people say "wow that's a cool effect" that's usually the sign of a poor filmmaker. A movie experience should be remarked at, not the effects used to make it.

Im a old classical movie inspired person with no imagination to inovate...
I need fresh young blood to copy and then make better....

i think as the medium of choice for hollywood continues to evolve more from film to digital you see a ton of new ideas for action films.

But then again, who really wants to direct action films?
