reviving 2008 mac pro 3,1 8-core w/new video card-worth it?

Now you are bringing back my earliest memories of trying Adobe Premiere elements on a Mac IICi. Where has the time went?
 
Well I fired up my 450Mhz MMX WIN98SE NLE running photoshop 7, AEFX 4.2 and Premiere 5/6 just the other day because I needed to scan some images with my favorite big scanner that doesn't support WIN 7 :)
