Reverse Keyframes? Copy/paste individual Keyframes?

Is there a way to do this like in Adobe apps? Say I have a blur filter, and I want to copy it to another clip, but then REVERSE the keyframed effect. Is there is way to reverse the keyframes?

Also, is there a way to copy/paste individual keyframes?

Copy the clip with the effects on it then highlight the clip you want to add the keyframes to. Right click or control click the clip and from the sub-menu select past attributes. Then check the boxes of the effects that you want to carry over. After that all you need to do is open the clip in the viewer and change the keyframes around to suit your needs.

Sorry but I can't remember if you can actually just copy and paste the keyframes off the timeline or from the viewer. I'll check that out next time I'm in FCP.

Can't copy and past keyframes like in AE unfourtunatly. That is one of the feature requests for a upcoming version of FCP. Best you can do is the above tip. copy and paste attributes. If you only want to copy a certain filter you can double click the clip that has the filter you want to copy. Open the filter tab in the viewer of the selected clip. Click on the filter you want to copy hit cmd + c. Then double click on the clip you want to copy the filter to and click on the filter tab and hit cmd + P. That will just copy the selected filter(s).

Yeah, I am aware of both of those methods... thanks though! Man that is super lame you can't just hit a button to reverse, or copy/paste individual frames like AE/Premiere Pro.

I've got to say, while FCP is the industry standard and has some great features and functionality that is missing from Premiere Pro, PP actually does quite a lot of things BETTER...

- native MXF file support
- Better time remapping
- Better ability to retime clips (option for no ripple when changing clip speed, time rate stretch tool)
- better keyframing (reverse, copy/paste, etc.)
- spotlight search in project browser + effects, as well as regular "advanced" search
- Ability to group/ungroup clips
- Audio Mixer allows you to adjust the volume of an entire track at once up or down
- Better titler implemented (although FCP allows greater keyframeable control of text)
- Ability to analyze and treat clips on the timeline independtly of the master clip without having to go through numerous extra steps
- Ability to copy paste a single parameter value out of a filter
- More appealing GUI
- History palette
- Auto Slideshow
- Much better integration between apps
- Better control of transitions between two clips

DANG... yes, FCP excels in many areas, but in regards to the most PRACTICAL stuff that I seem to run into when editing, Adobe has got some serious advantage right now and IMO Apple better pick up the pace and improve FCP 7.0 quite a bit...
