reversal footage ala man on fire and night ext

ok, i did a search and couldnt find a post i've read about in other posts about what settings help acheive that reversal stock look, such as man on fire on a 100b.

and second, suggestions for shooting highrises and highways, etc at night to get a nice picture with some style and keep the noise at a minimum.

There are some pricey remove noise filters that you could slap on in post, but I'm not sure that would do much.

There isn't much of a way to get around noise, but maybe you could shoot night for day?

I'm sure someone else will have a better answer for you.

edit: You might wanna post this in one of the DVX forums, because the people there have probably gone through the exact same problems.
