Resume Question

Hey guys,

Touching up the ol' resume here and I'm wondering if I should add my phone number on it. I'll be posting it on job sites etc and therefore have to assume the info will be made public (meaning the risk of endless sales calls to my home).

Since most of applications are filled out online nowadays is email sufficient as an only means of contact info on a resume?

If I saw a resume with no phone number, I'd move on to the next resume which had one. Whatever the job, there will be plenty of equally-qualified seekers. Why make it harder for them contact you?

Agreed. It's a standard expectation. Besides, your phone number is probably already public knowledge to anyone who really wants it.

You can do that Google thing* and get a throwaway number you can toss one you get the job. Or get sick of the charities calling you.

Probably would help if I could remember the name of it...
