Resolution and frame rate mixing

I have a project that will have some footage shot in 1080 30p, some shot in 720 60p, and some shot in 1080 60p (tm700). What is the correct preset for a PP CS5 project. Or, do I need to convert them to something different with CF HDLink? Any help would be appreciated! I am having one heck of a time trying to figure this out. Thanks!

This is all AVCHD?

I'd choose the 60p preset which best matches most of the footage (which looks like it'll be 1080). Or, if you'd prefer to minimize the difference between the 1080 and 720 footage, do it all as 720.

Just depends on what you want the final output to be.

It would all be AVCHD footage. 7D, HMC-150, TM700

Actually most of it would 720 60P from my HMC-150. Honestly, I don't understand how this works. Are there some general rules to use? Or, can you just drop different frame rates and resolutions into the timeline and let the NLE figure it all out. I have Cineform NeoHD with HDLink. It has a resize feature for 1280 x 720. Should I use that for the 1080p?

In theory, you can put any footage on any timeline, and Premiere will handle it.

I'd go with AVCHD 720p60. The other footage should work fine with it, though 7D footage is brutal no matter what.

It would all be transcoded to CF AVI. The reason I ask is that I put some 1080P footage in a 720P timeline and in the playback window it didn't fit. It only showed the center portion.

You have to resize it. But I think there's an option which which will let PP do that automatically; I just don't have PP in front of me to check right at this moment.
