Replacing white BG on technical drawing

USLatin

Panamaniac
I want to replace the white BG whit the matching color of a site I am working on. I cant push white to the yellow I need using the replace color adjustment, and I don't want to have to use the magic wand, since there is about 10 of these I have to do.

Anyone have a good idea?

I remember using the magic wand and paint brush to do this ROFL... so much time... it really sucks when you can't make out the names of the tools cause the Adobe guys are tools themselves, not the guys designing the tolls... just the marketing guys that seem to be so caught up in making things invisible, as if they wanted to make money charging you for support... good thing that isn't the case HUH!!!

Thanks Matt!

Now I need to make the specs text on phtotoshop. But it is getting there.

US, since that is basically a High Contrast drawing anyway, you can always use it as a Mask to create a transparancy. Then you don't have to fuss with blending modes or anything of the like.

What format was the original in? If you are working with text and what seems like lines, think about exporting the paths to Illustrator to retain Vector proporties. If you do that, you wont ever have to worry about backgrounds, scaling, rez loss.

Have fun!

EDIT: And I am only now getting to what I consider really good, and am still working towards the "Demigod" status, which was an inside joke, so you know.
