Replacing Sony HVR-A1

I am looking to replace/upgrade my Sony HVR-A1. I shoot documentary and this unit has done a great job, other than the fact that the tripod mount is in the same place as the tape dock.

I am keen to get something round the same size. XLR inputs necessary as I am often hooked up to wireless microphones, so also need something that has room for a receiver.

I like the Sony Z5 but it is most probably out of my price range.

Have been looking at

- Sony HXR-NX70
- Canon FX100

And also looking at two smaller cameras

- Canon XA10
- Panasonic HMC41

I need to be able to shoot and hand over footage pretty quickly if not instantly for interviews I have been shooting for other producers.

So if there are any thoughts or suggestions I would love to hear them.

Thanks.

Loved the HVR-A1. Unfortunately, mine broke, and fortunately, I'll probably be receiving a Panasonic AG-AC130 as a gift (college student that needs a camera for both in class and outside of class). I was looking at the Canon XF100/105 since it's roughly the same size, so I'd go with that. Honestly, though... you could get the AC130 for around the same price. It's a bigger camera, and everything I've heard is pretty awesome. However, the AC160 is considerably more.
