Replacement Mic Mount.... Please!

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN GET THE MIC MOUNT SETUP FOR MY DVX100B? I WOULD ALSO BUY ONE FROM ANY OF YOU OUT THERE THAT DONT USE IT OR HAVE MORE THAN ONE.

go to spec-comm.com they have all the replacement parts id give you mine but i already gave mine away.
 
Do I Have To Call Them, I Do Not See Anything On The Site About Replacement Parts.

i would just send them an email. they are only about an hour north of you from baltimore right outside of hagerstown maybe you could go and pick it up as well!
 
spec wants 58.00 for just the one piece ooouuuucccchhhh! does anyone else have a spare they want to sell?

If you're just looking for a mount, they have a universal microphone shockmount over at BH for $50 that I know for sure works with the DVX100.

Not sure if that is what you are looking for but I hope it helps.
 
You can get replacement parts from Panasonic but they're not cheap. http://www.pasc.panasonic.com/epartr/PartsList.asp

You can either put in your camera model and get a list of parts or put in a part number. I think the microphone holder adaptor and holder are the same for the HVX and the 100 series. The (HVX) model number is vyc0890 for the adaptor ($25.21) and vyc0936 for the holder ($56.24). Ouch. Yeah, if anyone has an adaptor they'd like to donate, put me on the list too.

without getting away from the topic too much ,I just wanted to know if anyone else's mic mount is wobbly or wiggly once attached to the camera?

I tried tightening it up pretty good, but i don't want to break anything, lol
 
you try Ebay ??? chance someone may be selilng one on there

I am going to keep my mount kept nice and safe, obtaining a new one seems like a pain in the ass!
 
Are we all talking about the same thing? The little mic mount that holds the mic, kind of to the side? That's the most useless thing in the world haha. Why don't you just mount your mic ontop of your camera, in the hotshoe?

EDIT: I've been thinking about it and because I've never really used mine, I'll consider selling.

I am having the same problem with a wobbly mic. Did you find a fix?

One of our folks broke the mic holder off our DVX.

I rang a dozen places in Sydney (Australia), and no one had much of a clue.

I eventually got put on to this mob:

... who seem to think they can get a replacement in for me. Don't have it yet, but I thought this post might help any other Cockroaches looking for panasonic parts in Sydney town.
