repair extreme low light video

I know ....its probaly a waste of time. But Im posting to see if anything beyond Levels and Color Curves can save some extreme low light video that I was sent. Im about to tell the guy its garbage but hoping there is some miracle app that will make it somewhat viewable.

Post a screen cap or clip and maybe someone can come up with a good curve. A low light clip could probably use some noise reduction, like VirtualDub Temporal Smoother. With the right curve, some temporal smoothing, perhaps some diffusion, something might be made of it.
