rental equipment in Toronto (Vistek sucks)

I have just finished renting equipment for the second time from a company in Toronto called Vistek. And I wish I'd learned from my mistake the first time (and listened to other posters in various forums who curse Vistek's name). The rental department is extremely unreasonable, rude and difficult. The first time they gave me a seriously scratched lens (I lost my shot that weekend, and got an extremely rude response from them when I suggested I shouldn't have to pay the rental cost on the item when I returned it). And now I have had an even worse experience with them. That's two for two. I hear Cinequip is far more professional and accommodating. I mean, I just want to get the job done, pay my rental fee and return the equipment in good condition--but Vistek insists on making more trouble for an indie filmmaker than they're worth!
