Renders look washed out

I've been noticing that after I burn my Vegas 7 rendered projects to DVD they look washed out. Is there anything that is going on that is new in 7 that I'm not aware of? This happens when rendering for DVD architect. I haven't tried anything else yet.
 
That's a great tip. Although I wasn't the originator of this thread, your reply caught my attention. It fixed the lackluster colors and dramatically improved the clip I just tried it on.
