Rendering to Vegas!

A couple of questions:

1. What settings should I use to render avi so I can CC it in Vegas? If I use lossless avi then 20 seconds become like 711mb.

2. I'm using dvx100b -- Should I make any changes in the AE template in terms of progressive fields or whatever???

Bump and...

AVI doesn't include audio plus the image is squeezed. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks!

Normally you export your video the way you put it in. Meaning use for export the codec you used to import your video files from the camera.
If you are exporting from AE, it would be better to CC it there, unless you are unfamiliar with it's tools.
From AE if you don't touch anything the render template will take care of settings.
Create your composition by dragging the video file to the New Composition icon, this ensures that the composition will have the exact video file size, ratio and duration. Then for export just hit Ctrl + M.
