Rendering to Final Cut

Whats the best render settings for using on Final Cut, because I have some footage I color corrected with After effects. What settings should I use to preserve the most quailty when bring it back to Final Cut?

You can render it as an Uncompressed .avi, a Quicktime with the Animation codec set to millions of colors (not millions of colors + unless you have an alpha), a .png sequence, .tga sequence.

It really depends on the length of the clip and your storage capacity. Personally, I'de go with Quicktime with the Animation codec or a .png sequence.

I'm having rendering problems, and this is really annoying... if I use the uncompressed settings not only the video is 3 times bigger than the original file (even without adding anything, i actually tested this just by adding a video and exporting it out on the render queue), it ALWAYS have some frames freeze in the middle... i want a 100% quality export and cant seem to get it, with this software, and this is pretty annoying, since after effects have some amazing features.

Is there an uncompressed video setting that'll keep my original filesize and give me 1:1 quality with the original? if i can't get it, then this software is pretty useless...
thanx in advance, hope someone can help me

Well, most likely, you're original file is not in the Animation codec that After Effects uses. It's probably DV or something like that which is considerably smaller. Not sure about the freeze frames, are you adding pulldown or anything like that? Double check your render settings...

no, no pulldown, it's just dv footage that i captured from my camera, normal ntsc video.
in vegas, for example, it's painless to export in an uncompressed format.
i've been trying different settings for some time now, and the best i could get is if i export as windows avi and then put the microsoft DV compression, but this actually compress the file a little, so it's not what i'd call optimal...
