Let's say that my final exported movie is 320x240. I create/edit my sequence at native 720x480. Some shots I like to zoom in on thus scaleing the video clip upwards of 150% sometimes. If I were to edit my sequence at 320x240 this is not a problem and my images would not be interpolated and upscaled.
However, with my sequence at 720x480, I then export at 320x240. Does FCP realize my scaled clip is actually smaller than native resolution and does not need to interpolate at all? Thus keeping a nicer image?
thanks
