Rendering Question

Ok, one more question.

I will putting my finished Video on DVD. When I am finished editing on Vegas what should I render the final video as? AVI? MPG2?

Assuming that you will be using DVD Architect, render the footage as MPEG2 and then render the project again as AC3 audio. When burning DVD, put the footage where you want and open up the video selection. Then drag the AC3 audio onto the Audio track. Hope this helps. (By the way, if you render as AVI and try to burn a DVD it will automatically re-render it to MPEG2 for the DVD buring process)

And, if you name th AC3 file the same as the Mpeg, it'll automatically associate the audio with the video, so you don't have to do any extra work. Good for us lazy people.
