rendering out to mini-DV

We have been asked to submit our documentary as a mini-DV... does anyone have a good workflow for Vegas so we can fit a 60min film on the tape?

Keep it to 60 minutes on the timeline and then “Print to Tape.”

What kind of a “workflow” did you have in mind?

Your mini DV tapes should be 63 min, you shouldn't have a problem.

seems easy enough... no need to specify compression, etc, I suppose.....

It’s definitely DV, because that’s all you can record to tape. No need to mess with any settings, and you’d be better off sticking with defaults. It should already be as high-quality as you can get.

You can choose your pulldown scheme, though, if it’s a 24p project.
