Rendering out to .flv

A client needs a project I shot rendered out to a .flv flash video file for web upload. Vegas 9 doesn't give me that output as an option so...

A. Do most flash players accept mp4 files or similar codec? - I'd much rather this be the case as I can just explain to my client that they can use mp4 as well, or...
B. If I'm stuck converting to .flv does anyone recommend a program? and...
C. What codec should I render out of Vegas before I bring it in the converter program?

The client is using Flowplayer which they have embedded on their site. Per Flowplayers website they accept the following:

  • .flv - These are Flash video files, as created by Adobe Media Encoder and other programs. Flash Video (.flv files) is a container format, meaning that it is not a video format in itself, but can contain other formats such as MPEG-4 or H.264.
  • .f4v - These are standard mp4 files (MPEG-4) that can be played back by Flash Player 9 Update 3 and above.

Can I atleast render out to .f4v or will it be in a different format(ie. the standard Sony mp4 codec)?
