rendering out titles from AE

im trying to render out some titles from AE and then import into FCP... when i play the rendered out comp in FCP it plays fine, but then when i drop it into the timeline, all the edges are jagged etc

what am i doing wrong??

edit : ive just tried exporting the title from FCP into a QT and it looks ok... is it just the playback in FCP??
 
Check to see that your RT settings aren't set to dynamic, but to HIGH (or best) and that you've actually RENDERED the clip in the timeline.

Remember, the VIEWER (Left window) plays the raw video. It doesn't care what format it is. The canvas plays the video as it will play in the sequence settings you have for the timeline. So, if it needs to be rendered one of two things will happen. 1) it won't play it at all or 2) if your RT settings are set to dynamic, it will play at a lower resolution.
