Rendering out .mov with H264? Perhaps have to render .mp4 H264 and change to .mov?

Working with a client and for some reason they have to have .mov H264 900kbps.

I know I can render .mp4 H264 in Vegas, in fact that's what I do for 99% of what I do.

There's no option in Vegas .mov for H264. I can do H263 but the quality on it is not very good at all.

Any ideas? I'm thinking there must be some way to change the container on my .mp4's to .mov. I know you can do this on a Mac quite easily but on Windows... ? I also know that once someone tried to convert my .mp4 rendered from Vegas to .mov on a Mac and it didn't work.

Okay I've just read up on this and it seems there are two methods. You can output a Sony H264 MPG (Sony AVC, different than the standard Main Concept H264 that I most always use), then open it in QuickTime Pro and do a "Save self-contained movie" and QT will rewrap it to .mov

Or you can output to a lossless format and re-render it to H264 .mov in QT Pro.
