rendering issues

first off, i am a noob.

i shot some green screen stuff, used the chroma key to get it out, and everything is how i want it. in play back it looks fine, just a little rough and choppy, because it needs to be rendered i guess..

so i rendered it, and the video looks great now, but the video is about double the speed that it should be. i played with different render settings, and nothing changed. what am i missing?

i am working in hi def. don't know if that makes a differnce. thanks for your help.

any thoughts????

since then, i have also had the same problem after rendering other clips not using the chroma keyer. so i guess the problem is not with the chroma key, but in someway that my render prefrences are set up.... ?????

make sure the editing timebase in the Sequence settings matches you clip timebase setting.
It sounds like this is what is happening because it is rendering it and doubling it to get to 59.94.

ie: clip-29.97 sequence-59.94 [WRONG]
clip-59.94 sequence-59.94
