Rendering in MPEG in PPro 1.5

Please help,

i have ppro 1.5 and i have a 2 hour footage i want to put on mpeg to so i can put it in Ulead DVD workshop to author. When i render in adobe media encoder, i use ntsc 4:3 high quality, when it renders it crashes alot, then the file is to big to put on 1 DVD. its 2 hours so it should fit right? please help. thank you.

there are many different bitrates (bitrate is connected to image quality) that are possible on DVD. 2 hours is a lot to fit on one single-layer DVD (commercial DVDs are dual layer - 8.5Gb - which you can get, but they're more expensive and you need a dual layer burner).

You need to select a lower quality setting.

Please see the post 5 or 6 lines below yours called "Feature Film Too Big to Export to DVD", it's exactly the same problem you're having and people have already responded with tons of info.
