Rendering HD to be burned on regular DVD

I need help.....

I took some shots in avchd format at 30fps. I need to burn in onto a regular DVD or CD to play on a regular DVD Player. What format should I render it to and at what kind of settings? Does anyone have any suggestion on how to do this in Vegas 8?

You'd prepare it as an NTSC DVD. Use the template for DVD Architect for NTSC DVD Widescreen. Render the audio as AC-3. Make sure they have the same file name and are saved to the same folder.
