hi everyone,
Heres the problem. I have PAL 4:3 footage, and i made it to 16:9 with crop function. And then i try render to 16:9 DV.avi i get 4:3 video, even if i change pixel size it still dont work. The only way is to render to .wmv with 1024x576 frame size, but i really need to render to DV.
How to solve it?

Is your preview display showing it 4:3 letterboxed or 16:9? If the preview shows 4:3, just change your project settings. FILE->PREFRENCES. From here, find a PAL Widescreen setting. When you render it, you should be able to choose the render settings as well. Hope that helps. Good Luck!

i know that, but it still dont work. Preview window shows 16:9 but tried to render all options, still dont get 16:9.
I seen what this problem is for many vegas users, maybe it becouse of vista or something?

What are you viewing the rendered footage in? Sometimes, the player won't recognize the pixel aspect ratio, and DV has the same pixel dimensions whether it's 4:3 or 16:9.

How does the rendered file look if you bring it back into Vegas?

I watching in Windows media player, its shows 16:9, but in winamp, VLC it show 4:3 and i need to change aspect ratio manually. And then i upload video somewhere(vimeo, youtube) it shows 4:3.
Then i bring back file to vegas it show 16:9.
Im actually just afraid, becouse i need to send video to contest and i afraid that people gonna see it in 4:3 not 16:9

You wouldn't normally send a DV file to any of those places; you'd send WMV or H.264/AVC/MP4. Those, you'd do with square pixels and there will be no problems.

contest ask for dv-avo, .mov, .mpg, so i decided to try render to mpg, guess what? its worked fine everywhere. Thank you for your advices, i wouldnt tried to render different.
