rendering D90 in Vegas 8

If it's for the web, e.g. Vimeo/youtube/PC viewing, try this instead:

AVI on Vegas is mostly about intermediate uses, not delivery ones (unless you manually installed third party DivX/XViD encoders). If you are interested in intermediate usage, use Cineform. You click "custom" and then you select that codec from the codec list. Again, that's for intermediate usage, e.g. archives.

Do you have anything written about the various "CUSTOM" Codes in Vegas Pro? When would you use a specific Codec etc.

Thanks~

I'm shooting this short using HVX200 and D90..so at this point it goes to DVD Distribution. I imagine rendering to mpeg2 off the timeline will do the job.???

To create a DVD with DVD Architect you need to export in mpeg2 NTSC Widescreen for video, and in AC3 for audio -- separately. Then, DVDA will put them back together.
