Hey there,
I've encountered an issue with rendering matte. This has never happened before.
So I'm editing an interview and I'm trying to superimpose the interviewee's name and position on the screen, and I've decided to create a matte cropped into a rectangle for the text to appear on top over.
So I've created my text and my matte with motion and opacity etc. After rendering it my matte disappears! The text is fine but the matte is gone.
I've tried putting the matte on top of the text but it's the same thing.
Any ideas WTF is happening?
I'm still in FCP5, but I've done it before on my old Mac and it has always been fine.
