Render times with Magic Bullet for editors.

I've heard that Magic Bullet on PP2 takes a long time to render. How long, and with what system? I just bought a new workstation and wonder what kind of performance I might get with it rendering Magic Bullet? It's a HP xw8400 twin Xeon 2.66 Dual Core, 2GB RAM and a Quadro FX 1500.
Can Magic Bullet use the GPU, or is it a CPU render only kind of app?

considering the work MB does on the clips the render times are acceptable. unless absolutely necessary you shouldn't apply any such effects until the very end of the editing process and by then you're looking at a lengthy render-out anyway so it shouldn't really matter.

I use MB heavily for colour correction and the render times don't really bother me.

A warning that might be irrelevant to you: For some reason if you use Adobe Media Encoder to export clips with Magic Bullet effects on them you will experience haphazard dropping out of the effects. It's very annoying. If you are exporting for web or smaller video files you should export uncompressed first and then use Media Encoder on the finished files.

Magic Bullet takes FOREVER to render in Avid Xpress. Just FOREVER. Five times as long as other plugins that achieve the same type of effects. I don't know why.
