Render MPeg 2 Problem

When rendering MPEG2, I suddenly get an "Unknown error" message in Vegas 8 with Raylight Ultra, all MXF and JPG video files. I have had no problems before this project and its short and light. (FX-wise). I'm using MPEG 2 template with DVD Architect 24-p NTSC Widescreen, modoified for best video quality and two-pass. It won't even start rendering, instant error. I checked Dynamic RAM and lowered the setting, made sure Raylight Ultra was configured, I'm stumped.
 
What version of Vegas do you have? there was a bunch of issues solved by 8.0c or 9.0...

I got that error a few times - from what i read and tried there are 2 issues....

There could be a corrupt or unreadable file in your media bin (not necessarily on your timeline)

Or your project settings / rendering settings are different causing it to crash.

Thanks much-- I cleaned the project media and now I can use my custom Templte modified from NTSC Widescreen Video Stream and it renders fine.
