Render mixed 50i and 50P !??

Hello!
I have some 50p and 50i footage in the same timeline. Question is. what project-settings and render-settings should I use? I tried with a 25p timeline to get smooth slowmo out of the 50P-clips. Result: 50P looked nice, but the 50i-footage was really "ghosty" (Illustration image) hehe

Any suggestions on what settings I should use?

Im using mp4/h265 because the edit is going to be published on vimeo.

You most likely have "blend" deinterlace turned on in the project settings

You could try "interpolate", but you will get jaggies (aliased deinterlacing artifact) instead

The fact is vegas' deinterlacer quality sucks, nothing you can do within vegas alone

There are higher quality algorithms in avisynth, but the learning curve is steep, and higher quality deinterlacers are very slow (CPU intensive, and poorly multithreaded)

Are you working in 25p timeline? Set project properties to "progressive, deinterlace: interpolate". Drop interlaced clip on the timeline, change speed to 0.5x, keep auto-resample on. This works fine for me, no ghosting, no jaggies. Preview shows correct frames only in the Best mode, in lesser modes it skips every other frame, but when rendered it should look fine.

P.S. H265 ?

P.P.S. Is this a real girl?
