render engine

guys, ive done all the tuts online but still cant seem to get my render engine to work. WHATS THE PROBLEM. im using 2 machines. 1 is the main machine where i do all the work... the other machine has AE installed. i didnt a small project for just to test... and after i collected files, set up my wathc folder, it just says search search search... sometimes a quick message with th aep file pops up but just more and more search. please help

Do you have copies of all the plug-ins used in your project on all of the computers you are using to render the project?

no plugins...... i was just practicing. i just did some cc by doubling the clip, changing the blend mode..

i finally did get something though but it only rendered a txt file then it says no renderables available.,... AHHHHHHHHH

what version of ae are you running?

have you copied all of the files for the project to the render slave by hand?

do both computers see the share as the same drive letter?

i assume you are using just the ae render engine and not any third party utilities like x-factor and/or nucleo?

setting up a render farm can be a real pain

i went through hell the first time and then when i upgraded my render farm to version 7 it was insane.

finally called adobe and i had some freak problem that they knew about and they had to give me a different serial number JUST for my render farm servers.
