"Render bar" on Timeline in FCP5 w/24pA & 23.98 timeline?

I'm running FCP5 capturing footage shot in 24pA mode, using the "remove 2:3:3:2 pulldown" capture template and dropping the footage into a 23.98 sequence. Each time I do this, I get a "render" bar over the video. If I set RT to unlimited it turns orange, but that shouldn't be the case, right? It should be the native capture/timeline co-existance I've always dreamed about? I've read all threads related and nothing other than "upgrade" is suggested for this. BTW, brand new dual G5 2.3, 2gb ram, 256mb ATI video. Thanks.
 
Sounds like you have it setup correctly but to double check:
Go to the Easy Setup. Check the Show All checkbox and select NTSC 48K 23.98 (advanced pulldown removal)

Make sure everything is set for DV video and that your soudn was recorded in 16bit mode (48k)
You can select a clip in the bin and check all the info listed and then check the sequence setup and make sure it exactly matches.
