Render AAC3 audio? How???

Createspace.com wants movies sent to them with the audio in AC3, not MPEG, format.

How do I do this in Vegas Pro 8.0c? I'm not seeing it.

As long as DVD ARchitect is installed, you simply use the RENDER AS dialog to export the AC3 as a separate file. At least the way Vegas does DVDs, it has mpeg2 and AC3 as separate files, and then DVD A puts them together to burn a DVD.

If you need them as a single file, you might need to use some third party muxers.

I meant AC3. Sorry. (Corrected original post and thread subject.)

Thanks Eugenia. How do I bring the separate files into DVD A? As a compilation? I know how to add media, but all I've ever done is add a video file with the audio track already included. Not sure how to add them separately, get them both on the timeline and ensure they synch properly.

If you've rendered both the MPEG and the ASC3 files with the same name (but with theor own different extension0, dragging one from the Explorer Window into the blue window will draw the other with it automatically.
