Removing wind noise

Help! Outdoor wedding, New Years Eve, no rental places open, no wind protection, nothing but the camera mic...

What's the best way to lessen the wind noise using Premiere Pro 2.0? Highpass filter renders no usable results, turning the bass right down helps a little but obviously the wind noise covers a larger range of frequencies... I have no idea what half the audio effects in PP do, is there anything that can help me? Or am I screwed?

I don't have Audition...

this answer may seem irreverent but im in no way trying to be and in my honest opinion you should ...first buy audition, then use the "edit in audition" command to utilize some of the more powerful tools available within that software. it really is heads and tails worth it over what PPRO offers in terms of audio sweetening. I can accomplish in a couple clicks in audition what would take me a headache filled afternoon to try and get something halfway decent out of PPRO. it really is an absolute must have if your concerned about audio quality. removing noise of any kind in PPRo alone isnt anything i can say ive walked away from with a smile on my face from. its doable using a combintation of filters such as "de noise" and "de hum" or "de esser" but its rediculous as it is alot of guesswork. using audition you can sample the noise and run a noise removeal filter which is tailored to that specific noise signal. works like a charm every time in a few clicks.

Neil is right, Audition will help you more than PP can.
However, Adobe is also about to offer a simpler program called SOUNDBOOTH, and that is currently available as a BETA with limited features. You could, I guess, download that BETA and try and see if you can get some useful audio from it:

sounbooth is the replacement for audition in the next version of the adobe pro creative suite. im sure it will have some nice added touches to it. id love to be able to batch process clips from PPRO with audition filters, or have a similar working to dynamic link where audition runs your audio and lets even lets you add audition filters from within PPRO using the audition dialog boxes.. anyway .. im sure it will be pretty nice.
