Removing pulldown from 24p in After Effects.

Can I get a step by step in how to do this?
I'll be receiving my HV20 shortly.

I know that you can drag and drop the footage into AE and interpret the footage, but what is the easiest way to get it from 1440 x 1080 to 1920 x1080? I'm assuming you do this first.

AE also doesn't seem to like m2t files. What is the best format to convert it to, and how?

Any help would be appreciated.

Kyser,

1. Import the footage into AE
2. Right-click on the clip and choose Interpret Footage
3. Choose the right pulldown removal technique and click the button
4. Set the right pixel aspect ratio (PAR)

There is no need to resize the footage to 1920. If the PAR is set correctly, you will be fine. You can do all your color correction without resizing, and you can resize only when you render.

as what? it won't accept m2t files.

Got that...

3. Choose the right pulldown removal technique and click the button
Which one would be the "right pulldown technique"? Should I have it guess?

4. Set the right pixel aspect ratio (PAR)
Set it to 1.0?

Sorry about all the questions...

Thanks,

Kyser
