Removing hollow sound

Recently I shot some green screen footage in a large gym. The problem was that the sound had a hollowness (or slight echo) to it. I was wondering if anyone ever had this problem and what they did. I have Premiere 1.5 and After Effects 6.5. Is there any way to remove this hollow sound. Thanks.

Sounds like your mic was too far from your subject. Sorry, but there's really no good way to remove reverb from a recording. You can try using some EQ to minimize it but don't expect miracles.
