Remove Grain Issue

Hey guys,

I'm having a major problem. I'm working in AE 6.5 PRO. I'm exporting clips frm my timeline in FCP for grain removal. The thing I can't figure out is that the Remove Grain filter works on some clips but doesn't work on others. I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem. The settings on all the clips are the same so I don't know what it's doing this. Any help would be much appreciated. thank you

You will have to specify for each clip what frames will the plugin look to search for grain. I don't have AE in front of me now but this is it. It's best to read the manuals for Remove Grain FX because it is very advance and needs lots of tweeking to achieve the best results without softing the image too much.

I know why!!!! It is really weird. I had this same problem with Premiere. If you export a file that has a fade in or out or a transition, then the filter will not work. remove those and noise remove by the clip. No transitions. I don't know why but I know when I removed the transition, the problem stopped.
