Remove Advanced Pulldown Error

I shoot in 23.98 with the DVX100.

When I log and capture some of the clips end up being 29.98fps and I am unable to remove advance pull down on them. I get the error:
Clip Name - Break in Advance Pulldown cadence (pattern) found near t.

Do you know why this is happening or how to covert these clips to 23.98fps? Or do I need to recapture them? Thank you.

I just tried to recapture everything and I unchecked "abort on dropped frames" and selected "on time break: make new clip".... the clip is still 29.98fps. I can't edit the scene until its converted to 23.98fps like the all the other clips in the scene. Thanks for any help.

Log in smaller clips- take by take and over no timecode breaks(blank spots on the tape).

Thanks but I just spent all morning doing that and they're all 29.98. I tried "remove advanced pulldown" after the clips were in my computer, that looked to have work but the clips go offline when I do that and are no longer viewable.
:furious3: Not mad at you, mad that I can't edit this damn scene until its 23.98

UGH! Know what I did? Before I captured this morning I set the capture settings to not remove advanced pulldown. Lets try this again.

OK, fixed. I sent my capture settings to advance pulldown and did it one clip at a time and it worked. Thanks! If anyone else has the same problem, do batch capture, not the "now" button unless you plan on keeping your clips small.
