remote filming location(worth getting generator)

I am filming out at a point with two light houses. Its a thriller and Most of it is set in the evening (sunset, till just dark).

its a no budget short film with the xh-a1, sound crew. Should i hire a generator or just shoot the night scenes in lowlight and use magic bullet to nightanate them?

Possibly the lighthouses have power so access to them is an option.
 
I'm assuming those are work lights and not fresnells, so basically it sounds like you have no film production lights.

I hate Day for Night, but in that circumstance, DFN might be your best option.
