Remember a shoe commercial thing from Zombie Fest?

There was an entry to Zombie Fest... a thing where the zombies walked slowly towards their victims as the victim went from initial fright to not caring because the zombies were so slow... then the zombies realize "it's the shoes"... so the next scene is the zombies in Nike Air or something... running people down.

I always thought that was such a smart video... but I only saw it once... and could never find it again.

Does anybody have any idea how to find that?

I contacted Doug... saw the video... that is NOT it!

I remember it took me a while to finally see ALL the zombie fest videos... this was one that sort of fell through the cracks... deserved more attention then it got.

I remember it exactly...

A young woman comes across a zombie in a parking lot... the zombie does the usual moan and slow walk towards her... hands out, etc... she screams and runs to her car... upon getting to her car she looks back and sees the zombie has hardly advanced towards her... at that point she casually starts her car and continues a phone conversation, before CASUALLY driving off as the zombie has yet to hardly advance...

The zombie gives a "WTF???" look and the cam tilts down to the shoes... all worn and out of date... cut to the next scene... zombies are fast as hell... people running and screaming... zombies just as fast... zombie runs towards cam at a low angle... NEW shoe FREEZE-FRAMES in mid-step... camera center... typical money-shot for Converse, etc. then action continues as the zombies are effectively chasing the victims down.

It was a brilliant take on a cliche' characteristic of zombies...

I'd love to see that video again... it's burned in my mind as one of those shorts that just didn't get the credit it should have (for such a good, original idea)... I wouldn't be posting except I've looked for it several times with no success.
